Why SOMA?

  • At SOMA, our classes are intentionally small — no more than six clients per session. This means you won’t get lost in the crowd the way you might at a big-box gym or franchise studio. Each instructor has the time and space to watch your form, answer your questions, and provide hands-on corrections that keep you safe and progressing. The difference shows up in the details: clear and precise cueing, faster progress, and fewer injuries. You’ll leave class knowing you’ve been truly seen and supported in your Pilates journey, not just pushed through a one-size-fits-all workout.

  • We believe Pilates should feel like freedom, not a trap. That’s why SOMA offers simple, flexible class cards and passes instead of long-term contracts. No hidden fees, no automatic renewals, no pressure to commit beyond what fits your life right now. You pay for what you’ll actually use. Our goal is to build a relationship based on trust, not fine print. This flexibility makes it easier to try Pilates, stick with it, and enjoy the benefits at your own pace — without worrying about whether you’re locked into something that no longer works for you.

  • Classes at SOMA are designed to be accessible. No waitlist games, no pressure to book months in advance — and when things get busy, we add more classes so spots stay open. That’s why over 99% of reservations at SOMA are successful.

We know life is unpredictable, which is why our system adapts to you. With classes offered throughout the week, flexible pass options, and an easy booking system that allows quick swaps, you’ll always find a time that works. Unlike bigger gyms, our team knows you by name and helps with schedule changes, vacations, or goal-specific adjustments. This flexibility makes it possible to build Pilates into a consistent, sustainable habit — not another stressor on your calendar.

  • Many studios focus only on mat or reformer classes, but SOMA is different. Here, you’ll experience the full breadth of the Pilates method: Reformers, Towers, Wunda Chairs, Ladder Barrels, and more. This allows us to tailor exercises to your exact needs — whether you’re building strength, improving flexibility, recovering from injury, or seeking advanced choreography. The variety keeps workouts engaging and progressive, and it ensures your body gets the full benefit of Pilates as Joseph Pilates intended. When you train at SOMA, you don’t just “do Pilates” — you gain access to the whole system, designed for your whole body.

  • At the Open House you’ll have the chance to explore a variety of free classes. New clients are encouraged to jump into Reformer Flow, while returning clients can experiment with the Chair, Barrel, or Barre. It’s also a perfect opportunity to meet new instructors in a low-commitment, welcoming environment.

  • The Usual Promotions:

    • 15% off check/cash purchases on all Forever Cards (5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 class denominations) (10% off when paying by card)

    • 10% off check/cash purchases of Class Card bundles (12-week and 24-week denominations) (5% off when paying by card)

    • And new this year: you can also sign up for autopay and lock in permanent discounts on our 4-week cards.

    Subscribe & Save Pricing

Sign up for autopay (or renew an existing autopay) during the Open House and enjoy a permanent 5% discount:

    • 4 classes in 4 weeks — reg price $120 → sale price $114/cycle (saves ~$178 per year with 12 cycles)

    • 8 classes in 4 weeks — reg price $210 → sale price $199.50/cycle (saves ~$336 per year with 12 cycles)

    • 12 classes in 4 weeks — reg price $270 → sale price $256.50/cycle (saves ~$432.50 per year with 12 cycles)

    • 16 classes in 4 weeks — reg price $310 → sale price $294.50/cycle (saves ~$496.50 per year with 12 cycles)

This is not a contract — you can cancel anytime with a single click or text. Many of our members have been on autopay for years (we even have a few still paying their original 2019 rates). It’s a fantastic deal and, like all SOMA class cards, carries no obligation beyond what works for you.

Additional Rewards for Consistency - Upgrade to Unlimited

    • If you maintain a lower than 10% late-cancel rate, your 16-class card will be upgraded each cycle to Unlimited.

    • If your late-cancel rate rises 10% or higher, your subscription will remain at 16 classes per 4 weeks until your cancel rate returns to less than 10%.

    • As with all autopay cards, if your subscription renews 12 cycles in a row, your last cycle of the year is free (this “last cycle free” savings is already included in the estimates above).

This system keeps classes accessible, rewards members who respect our community, and ensures fairness for everyone.

  • Bring a friend to SOMA and earn double the reward! If your guest purchases a class package, you’ll receive two free class credits added to your account. It’s a perfect way to share Pilates with someone you care about and enjoy the benefit of extra classes for yourself.

  • Enjoy exclusive Open House savings on SOMA retail items — with discounts up to 30% off! Stock up on apparel, accessories, and wellness goods while supplies last. (Food items excluded from this promotion.) It’s a great chance to grab high-quality gear for your practice at a fraction of the price.

Open House Class Scheduling Guidelines & FAQ

Doors open at 4:00 pm!

  • You may book up to three classes during the Open House. Just be sure they don’t overlap.

  • New to SOMA? If you’ve never been on a Reformer with us, please start with Reformer Flow. These classes include a built-in safety orientation to help you feel comfortable and confident.

  • We encourage you to leave at least one break between your scheduled classes. Use that time to mingle, ask questions, and connect with SOMA veterans, instructors, and our front desk team.
